THE USE OF ASHES AT TF100 FESTIVAL
The Use Of Ashes were one of the six performing acts at the TF100 Festival, on February 27 at the Paradox in Tilburg. Also appearing were March (the new project of Maarten Scherrenburg), Astralasia, Ron Geesin, The Sleep Of Reason, and Sand Snowman. The festival is accompanied by a 108-page book detailing the first 100 releases of Tonefloat, and portraits the significance of the band to the label. It also includes an album that features many resident label artists - including Peter van Vliet. An interview on the current state of the band can be read (in Dutch) on Dark Entries. Reviews have appeared on Gonzo Circus, Dark Entries, VPRO 3voor12, and Roarezine. Pictures to be found at the pages of Leon Versmissen, Andre Seesink, Every Colour You Are, Fileunder, and Herman Stehouwer
